Citigroup has appointed Andrew Conway as its new global chair of consumer and retail investment banking, signaling an intent to bolster its presence in the sector. Conway, who will join the banking giant in September, brings over three decades of experience, most recently serving as vice chairman of consumer and retail investment banking at Bank of America.
Conway's extensive background also includes a 20-year tenure at Credit Suisse, where he rose to vice chairman of global consumer products, and earlier roles at Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley in equity research.
