Brazilian planemaker Embraer expects to eventually bring its E2 jets into China, viewing them as a complementary offering to the country's domestically developed aircraft models. Arjan Meijer, CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, stated that the company has a dedicated team in Beijing working on market entry on the sidelines of a global gathering of airline executives in Rio de Janeiro. Meijer believes the E2 family of aircraft is the ideal complement to indigenous products.
