South Korea's economy experienced stronger growth in the first quarter than previously estimated, according to revised data from the Bank of Korea. The gross domestic product (GDP) for the January-March period was revised upward to a 1.8% increase compared to the preceding three months, surpassing the initial estimate of 1.7%. On an annual basis, the economy grew by 3.8%, an upward revision from the advance estimate of 3.6%.
